Our Family started producing eggs with 15 hens in 1986 We have grown our flock to a level where we supply supermarkets, hotels and local retailers throughout the northwest. All our hens are Free Range and enjoy the freedom to follow their natural instincts, foraging over green fields alongside our cattle and sheep.
Our reputation for quality Free Range Egg production and our commitment to high welfare standards has driven our desire to ensure that all eggs produced on our farm meet all the requirements for Lion Registration and RSPCA freedom Food Certification.
Meet Colin & Annabel

Colin & Annabel have a small lowland farm specializing in free range egg production. Their whole ethos is based on producing quality eggs whilst maintaining high welfare standards. That’s why they are both LION Registered and belong to the RSPCA Freedom Foods Scheme. Colin & Annabel’s small flock of Free Range Hens enjoys the freedom to roam on open fields that they have all to themselves during the day and at dusk they can return to the shelter and security of their barn overnight.

Alan farms in the heart of the Lake District . His small family farm nestles in a valley below the magnificent South Lakeland fells. It is the perfect environment for Free Range hens to enjoy their freedom on green pastures with the protection of a purpose built barn to return to during inclement weather and in the evenings. Living in such a beautiful area, Alan and his family are very keen to farm in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way whilst maintaining excellent quality and welfare standards so they have been keen to ensure that all their egg production meets the requirements for both LION Registration and the RSPCA Freedom Foods Scheme.
